Rahul Agarwalla is a Consulting Partner at TCF Consulting Services (India) Private Limited (Part of Chugh CPA’s LLP) presently having pan-India tax, audit and consulting offices in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh in addition to Chugh LLP offices across the United States and also in various countries.

Rahul completed his Chartered Accountancy from the ICAI, India. He is also a graduate in Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and a Fellow Member of the ICAI (FCA). He also holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA- ICAI). With over 14 years of experience in domestic and international tax laws and tax litigation, Rahul is experienced in tax structuring, global entity structuring from taxation perspective, mergers, acquisition and effectively advising clients on varied direct and indirect tax matters.

His areas of expertise include advising Clients on tax matters relating to cross-border transactions, extensive entity structuring, domestic transactions, commercial aspects of Client specific business, foreign direct investment in India, advising clients on evolving tax strategy by considering various tax exemptions, tax havens, DTAA and use of right corporate structure. He has worked with domestic and international investment firms and HNI’s in carrying out Financial and Tax Due-Diligence on target Companies and end to end Inbound Investment structuring from taxation perspective. He also has extensive experience in Transfer Pricing and direct and indirect tax assessments and litigation up to the Appellate level.

Rahul acts as Tax Advisor to multinational and domestic companies in IT & ITES, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Fintech, E-commerce sectors and assists Clients with their transactional matters and provides general day to day advice in the direct and indirect tax matters. He also has extensive experience in matters of Outsourced / Virtual CFO, Growth stage start-up consultancy, Statutory, Tax and Internal Audits and Internal controls IFRS and IndAS matters, Indirect Tax and GST and labor law matters.
